Nancy Altamirano, MD is originally from Manila, Philippines. She attended the University of the Philippines, where she was among a select group of students who qualified for the Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine Program (INTARMED) – a seven-year program that shortens the medical education by two-years. She went on to complete her Pediatric Residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA.

Dr. Altamirano has two children who are both currently attending college. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, Broadway shows and theater.
