Luana Hearn, MD joined the Internal Medicine Department at NBMC in August, 2021. Dr. Hearn received her Medical Degree from Federal University in Brazil and completed an Emergency Medical Responder Certification Program at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, where she also completed an Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program.

Dr. Hearn is fluent in English and Portuguese and able to communicate in Spanish. She is involved in culture exchange and comfortable with people from all backgrounds. She is passionate about reading, Latin dance and electronic gaming.
