Jason Empson began working in the Urology Department at North Bend Medical Center in January, 2022. He began his nursing career in Coos Bay, eventually becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021. Jason attended Southwestern Oregon Community College, where he earned a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification and an Associates Degree in Nursing. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Western Governor’s University and a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN) from Drexel University.

Jason joined Dr. Kusuda’s Urology practice and is keen on building relationships with patients and families through empathetic communication, teaching, having a respectful attitude and providing excellent customer service.
